Pear is Quentin Nicolaï.

Quentin is a 18 year old belgian guy who did the paperboard design of Sundays in Spring and does most of our flyers. In his freetime he also sometimes takes nice photographs: http://www.lomohomes.com/Generix

When he said to us he was starting to record music also we were very interested. While it may not sound as finished as most of our previous releases, we are certain it's a good idea to present his first recordings here as the quality and sensitivity are talking for themselves.

Maxime Le Hung (Tom Sweetlove, HLM) and Patrick Simon (Tom Sweetlove, Vancouver) are helping (percussions, xylophone, guitars)

Four delicate slow and contemplative fragile folk songs inspired by the works of people like Nathan Amundson (Rivulets), Rick Alverson (Spokane, Drunk) or Glenn Donaldson (Blithe Sons, Ivytree, Skygreen Leopards,..)

We are deeply happy that Sundays in Spring can be the home of such a meaningful beginning, slowly building our own vision of music.

Notes:

These songs were recorded during the last summer at home in a small village (called Heinsch) near Arlon. I starded to record them myself, then my friends Maxime and Patrick came to help me with their gear. It was very fun and we’ve drunk lot of tea. The songs talk about some events in my life. I think the nature, simplicity, melancholy are important inspirations for theses recordings…

Quentin Nicolaï plays everything except :
Patrick Simon plays second guitar on leaf tea, xylophone on light disappears, percussions on leaf tea. Maxime Lê Hung plays second guitar on light disappear and percussions on leaf tea.
